Hello my name is Emma and I like to write programs for computers! I live in central Oslo, Norway. I am active in the local (and broader european) hacker community, although I'm frankly not very interested in cybersecurity (I just like tinkering and making computers do things).

My favorite subject of programming is game development. I like low level programming, so i often work on my game engine in C. I am not a big fan of rust or c++, although i really have tried to like them I keep getting distracted by all the language features.

I like to play video games, primarily on the PlayStation 2, but sometimes PlayStation 3 or PC. I play my games on hacked hardware. All my PS2 games are backups stored on my desktop computer, the PS2 boots them from a SMB share i set up specifically for this purpose. My PS3 games are backups stored on the PS3 itself.

I can play the guitar, it was my main instrument during my time as a music student in high school. Nowadays, I mostly play with synthesizers, drum machines, and such. I'm more interested in playing with sound than regular performance.
